This page documents Mohave Mortgage's text messaging program in full — including how we obtain consent, what messages we send, and exactly how to opt out. Must be 18 years or older to use this SMS service

About This Program & Description of Services

Mohave Mortgage is a licensed mortgage brokerage headquartered in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, serving homebuyers, homeowners, and real estate investors across Arizona, California, Texas, and Colorado. We are a family-owned small business focused on our local community and the relationships we build within it.

Our SMS messaging program allows us to communicate efficiently and personally with prospective borrowers, active applicants, and referral partners who have provided their express written consent to receive text messages from us. We do not send bulk unsolicited messages. Every text originates from a real conversation with a real person on our team — or is a direct follow-up to an inquiry you initiated.

Loan programs we offer include: FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, First-Time Homebuyer (FTHB), DSCR (Investor), Reverse Mortgage, Non-QM, Manufactured Home, and HELOC loans.

Our SMS program supports the following types of messages:

All SMS communications originate from Mohave Mortgage or its authorized technology service providers acting exclusively on our behalf. We use GoHighLevel (GHL) as our CRM and messaging platform.

How You Opt In — All Methods

Mohave Mortgage obtains express written consent before sending any SMS messages. The following are all approved opt-in methods for this program:

Method 01 — Primary
Website Form Opt-In

By completing and submitting any contact or loan intake form on mohavemortgages.net — including the Follow Us form at mohavemortgages.net/followus — and actively checking the SMS consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Mohave Mortgage at the mobile number you provide. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be affirmatively selected. Submission of the form without checking the box will not enroll you in SMS communications.

Method 02
Verbal Consent — Inbound Phone Inquiry

When a prospective borrower contacts Mohave Mortgage by phone and verbally requests to receive text message follow-up, the loan officer or team member confirms consent verbally and documents it in our CRM system (GoHighLevel) prior to initiating any SMS outreach. The documented consent record includes the date, time, and nature of the verbal opt-in.

Direct Reply — Inbound Text Initiation

If you initiate a text message conversation by texting Mohave Mortgage directly, your outbound message constitutes your consent to receive SMS responses from us related to your inquiry. We will confirm your opt-in with a confirmation message on first contact.

Mohave Mortgage does not purchase, rent, or share SMS consent lists. We do not share, sell, or transfer your phone number or SMS opt-in consent to any third party for their independent marketing or messaging purposes. Your consent to receive texts from Mohave Mortgage applies only to Mohave Mortgage and authorized technology service providers operating directly on our behalf.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your loan status and the nature of your inquiry. The table below reflects expected ranges by communication type. We will never send unsolicited spam — every message is directly related to your mortgage inquiry or active loan file.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your individual wireless plan. Mohave Mortgage does not charge any fee for SMS communications. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about applicable messaging charges on your account.

Standard carrier messaging rates apply. If you are unsure whether your wireless plan includes unlimited texting, please check with your carrier prior to opting in. Mohave Mortgage has no visibility into your carrier's billing and is not responsible for any charges assessed by your wireless provider.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of Mohave Mortgage text messages at any time using any of the following methods. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

Reply any of the keywords above to any text message from Mohave Mortgage. You will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out. No further messages will be sent after that confirmation, except as required by law or to fulfill an active loan application obligation.

Opting out of marketing text messages will not affect transactional, servicing, or legally required communications related to an active loan application you have already submitted to Mohave Mortgage. Those communications may continue until your loan is closed or withdrawn.

If you are not receiving expected messages, please check that your device is not blocking messages from our number and that you have not previously opted out.

Privacy & Your Information

Your phone number and SMS consent are treated as personal information under our Privacy Policy. We handle your data in accordance with applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third party for their independent marketing or messaging purposes. Your information is used solely to facilitate communications about Mohave Mortgage’s mortgage products and services, or to operate systems directly supporting those services.

Information we may collect in connection with SMS communications includes: your name, phone number, loan inquiry type, and message history. This information is stored securely in our CRM platform (GoHighLevel) and is accessible only to authorized Mohave Mortgage team members and service providers.

Updates to These Terms

Mohave Mortgage reserves the right to update these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, CTIA guidelines, carrier requirements, or our messaging practices. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued receipt of our text messages after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

If material changes are made that affect your rights or opt-in consent, we will notify you via SMS prior to those changes taking effect.
